Meet the 2025 Maverick: A Compact Powerhouse with Urban Appeal

The 2025 Ford Maverick might be the smallest in Ford’s truck lineup, but it’s a compact powerhouse that offers broad appeal. Ford guarantees as much with the Maverick’s five-trim lineup, each offering distinct styling and performance. Oakdale drivers also have a choice of powertrains, making the Maverick readily customizable to every need.

Trims and Features

The 2025 Maverick XL starts the lineup at $28,145. It rolls off Ford’s production line with a hybrid engine, a 13.2-inch center touchscreen, the FLEXBED storage system, and the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite of driver-assist technologies. The Maverick XLT builds on these features, adding exclusive wheels, Intelligent Access with Push-Button Start, a trailer hitch receiver, and the optional FX4 Off-Road Package.

The Lobo, Lariat, and Tremor complete the lineup, each uniquely styled and equipped. The Lobo appeals to those with a penchant for speed, featuring a quick-shifting transmission, a potent EcoBoost engine, and a performance-tuned suspension and steering. The Lariat offers premium luxury and convenience, thanks to its heated seats, wireless charging pad, 360-degree camera, and Pro Trailer Backup Assist.

The Maverick Tremor takes the top spot, living up to its name by proving it’s ready for anything. It features an off-road tuned suspension with unique springs and shocks, and Ford’s advanced four-wheel drive system with a twin clutch rear drive unit and lock. Underbody skid plates add protection, giving you the confidence to venture off the pavement.

Powertrains and Capability

The 2025 Maverick has a two-engine lineup, with Ford treating its 2.5L I-4 hybrid powertrain as the standard engine. The hybrid engine produces 191 hp and is remarkably efficient, yielding an EPA-estimated 38 MPG combined on front-wheel drive models and 37 MPG combined on all-wheel drive models.

The Maverick’s hybrid powertrain’s work ethic is just as remarkable as the turbocharged 2.0L EcoBoost I-4, which can tow up to 4,000 pounds and support a 1,500-pound payload. Yet, the 2.0L EcoBoost puts more power at your feet, producing 250 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque with its all-wheel drivetrain providing all-season and all-terrain confidence.

Meet the 2025 Ranger: The Midsize Adventurer

Moving up in size, the 2025 Ford Ranger strikes the perfect balance between compact agility and full-size capability. It’s a midsize marvel in every sense of the word and incredibly affordable. The entry-level Ranger XL starts at $33,350, a value-packed model featuring distinct styling elements guaranteed to turn heads.

Trims and Features

The 2025 Ranger XL features Ford’s STX Appearance Package, with the XLT differentiating itself with the Sport Appearance Package. This package is also included on the Ranger Lariat, the most luxurious trim, featuring power, heated, and leather-trimmed front seats.

The Ranger’s trim family ends with the Raptor, a midsize powerhouse that exceeds every expectation. Ford’s ingenuity shines, with the Raptor powered by a 3.0L EcoBoost V6 and equipped with 2.5-inch FOX Racing Shocks with Live Valve Technology. Its watts-link rear suspension and electronic locking front and rear axles complete the Ranger Raptor’s rugged build, enticing Oakdale drivers to push the limits of performance.

Powertrains and Capability

The Ranger’s standard engine is Ford’s proven 2.3L EcoBoost. The turbocharged inline-four produces 270 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque, yielding a maximum towing capacity of 7,500 lbs and its highest payload of 1,788 lbs. It’s also the most efficient engine with an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 23 MPG combined in rear-wheel drive models.

Drivers looking for more excitement should consider the turbocharged 2.7L EcoBoost that’s available on the XLT and Lariat. The engine makes 315 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, making it more responsive and engaging. Of course, the Raptor’s turbocharged 3.0L EcoBoost ups the ante by producing 405 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque.

Meet the 2025 F-150: The American Favorite

Ford’s truck lineup isn’t complete without the iconic F-150, America’s best-selling truck for decades. The 2025 Ford F-150 continues that legacy, enticing drivers with the gas powerhouse we know and love or the all-electric Lightning. The models have many similarities and offer distinct appeal as two exceptional road warriors.

Trims and Features

The 2025 F-150 XL starts at $37,450, offering outstanding value with its 12-inch touchscreen and a potent 2.7L V6 engine. The F-150’s diverse lineup progresses to the STX, which offers the F-150 Lobo Package and exclusive 18-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels. The King Ranch and Platinum exude opulence with their exclusive interior and exterior details, offering BlueCruise hands-free driving. The Tremor, Raptor, and Raptor R answer the need for performance on and off the pavement, each offering a unique blend of rugged components.

F-150 Lightning

The 2025 F-150 Lightning features a streamlined lineup, with many shared elements across its XLT, Lariat, and Platinum models. Oakdale drivers looking for something unique will appreciate the 2025 Lightning Flash, a mid-tier trim equipped with BlueCruise, ActiveX seating, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and an expansive 15.5-inch center touchscreen.

Powertrains and Capability

The 2025 F-150’s standard powertrain is Ford’s trusted 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine, a turbocharged engine making 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. The 5.0L Coyote V8 is even more impressive, producing 400 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. Yet, the real warrior in the lineup is the F-150’s 3.5L EcoBoost V6, which makes 400 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque to yield the truck’s highest towing and payload capacities of 13,500 pounds and 2,440 pounds.

The Raptor’s high-output 3.5L EcoBoost V6 produces 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque, making it incredibly responsive and agile. Ford builds on this with the Raptor R, which relies on a supercharged 5.2L Predator High-Output V8 to produce 720 hp and a jaw-dropping 640 lb-ft of torque.

For those looking for hybrid or EV options, Ford delivers. The 2025 F-150’s 3.5L PowerBoost V6 is a hybrid powertrain with 430 hp and 570 lb-ft of near-instant torque at your feet. Diving into an all-electric future is also easy, thanks to the F-150 Lightning. The Lightning relies on dual electric motors to produce anywhere from 452 to 580 hp and 775 lb-ft of instant torque, with drivers given the choice of a standard, long-range, or extended-range battery.

Moreover, these models mirror the full-size F-150, offering the same value and ingenuity as America’s best-selling truck.

Trims and Features

Ford doesn’t reinvent the wheel but builds on what we know and love with the 2025 Super Duty trim family. The F-250, F-350, and F-450 offer identical trim lineups, starting with the XL and progressing to the XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum. As expected, the 2025 F-250 is the most affordable and starts at $45,675.

You’ll find larger fuel tanks, Ford’s PowerScope trailer tow mirrors, a 360-degree Camera, an integrated trailer brake controller, and more towing technologies. These features reflect the Super Duty’s work ethic and capability.

Powertrains and Capability

The 2025 Super Duty gives Oakdale drivers a choice of up to four proven powertrains. The standard 6.8L V8 engine produces 405 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque, which offers the F-350’s highest payload capacity of 8,000 lbs. The 7.3L Godzilla V8 ups the ante, making 430 hp and 485 lb-ft of torque. This output pushes the F-250 to its best payload of 4,246 lbs.

Ford completes the Super Duty’s multi-engine lineup with a 6.7L Power Stroke Turbo-Diesel V8 and a High-Output version, the only two options for the F-450. The standard 6.7L V8 produces 475 hp and 1,050 lb-ft of torque, and the high-output puts 500 hp and 1,200 lb-ft of torque at your feet. The high-output Power Stroke pushes the F-350 and F-450 to their highest towing capacities, at 38,000 lbs and a best-in-class 40,000 lbs, respectively.
